Product Overview

The ATMEGA Project Board is designed to work with ATMEGA16/32. The ATMEGA16/32 is a low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontroller based on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture. It executes powerful instructions in a single clock cycle and achieves throughputs approaching 1 MIPS per MHz allowing the system designer to optimize power consumption.

The Project Board is equipped with standard JTAG (IEEE std. 1149.1 Compliant) for Programming & Debugging and 10 pin In-System Programming Interface (ISP) CONNECTOR for Programming using any AVR Serial Programmer such as USBasp. And the board by default has 16Mhz Crystal.

Input Voltage : 7V - 35V DC adapter (preferably 12V/9V) 

or You can give 7V-35V DC directly to Vin lines (marked as 12V) on board 

or 5V DC directly to Vcc lines (marked as 5V) on board

(Make sure you connect the GROUND to GND line on board too)

INPUT VOLTAGE (12V/9V), REGULATED VOLTAGE(5V) and GND lines are extended on board itself. So if you need to give power to external sensors/boards, you don't need any external power supply boards

"You can use 12V or 9V DC adapter and connect directly to DC jack on board (input to 7805) but if you are using 5V adapter, remove 7805 from board and short footprints of input (1) & output (3) pins of 7805 using a wire and then connect 5V to the DC power jack"
